MotorMugs came about
after struggling over what present to buy my husband one year. It seemed almost
impossible to obtain Personalised Gifts without having to order more than one
item.
I then spent some time looking into what equipment was
available so I could offer one off individual items.
As you can see I achieved this goal, and that
was the beginning of MotorMugs. |

Let me tell you a
little bit about myself, I've had a love of cars since a child, my first car
being a 1968 Austin Mini Cooper, now sadly missed and often thought of. As my
enthusiasm for cars grew it became a natural step to become involved in
Motorsport, not having the finances at the time to consider competing the most
logical step was to Marhsall. Over the period I marshalled at Autotests, Road
& Stage Rallying, Circuit from Karts through to Truck Grand Prix, and
thoroughly enjoyed every minute. |
| During 1999 I had the
chance to fulfil my long held dream of driving a Formula Ford 2000,an
experience every motorsport enthusiast should try a least once in their
lifetime. |

Our
project car, a SAAB 99 Turbo, is slowly in the process of being built, and we
will eventually compete in Speed Events (Sprinting). This will be a joint
venture between myself and my husband. We are members of both Saab Owners Club
and Saab Enthusiasts Club and owned various models over a period of 20+
years. |
